Description:

Kleine Einstein is a Registered Early Childhood Development Centre (est 2007) located in Glenlilly, Parow. Through our extended family of parents, teachers, community and service providers we aim to present the best quality of learning conditions, where young minds can be stimulated and their optimum potential unlocked during their first years of education. We believe that ALL children have the right to proper foundation phase education at a safe and hygienic centre. A Place where friends become family!

School Times:

6:30 till 18:00 (Monday to Thursday)
6:30 till 17:30 (Friday)
Half day till 14:00

Our classes:

4 months – 12 months: Baby stimulation and baby massage. We focus on gross motor development

1 – 2 Years:
Gross and fine motor activities. Start introducing colors, shapes, drawing and painting

2 – 3 Years:
Gross and fine motor activities. Learn colors, shapes, counting, drawing, painting, built 4 to 6 piece puzzle's, flash cards, perception (smell,see,hear,feel,taste), learn songs and rhymes

3 – 4 Years:
Gross and fine motor activities. Learn shapes, colors, counting, drawing, start to write, coloring, painting, built 10 piece puzzle's, flash cards, memory games, perception (smell,see,hear,feel,taste), learn songs and rhymes.

4 Years up:
Preparations for Gr. R, writing, colouring, painting, drawing, counting, shapes, colors, memory games, flash cards, learn songs and rhymes, perception (smell,hear,see,taste,feel), games that teach children to listen and follow instructions.

Our Program:

Our Educational program is based on the ELDA Curriculum – Early Learning Development Areas:
1. Well-being
2. Identity and belonging
3. Communication
4. Exploring mathematics
5. Creativity
6. Knowledge and understanding of the world
7. FREE Child Kinetics for 3 to 6 years olds
 
FUN and interesting themes are used to help develop and explore these learning areas. By implementing this platform our ECD teachers are able to assess and track each child’s progress and development throughout the school year.
 
Safety:
 
The premises is protected by electrical fencing. Both gates before the entrance are permanently locked. No unidentified person is allowed on the premises. A register must be signed by the person who collects a child. There are always two staff members on duty to open in the mornings and lock up in the afternoon. The building is also protected by Electro Alarm with panic buttons in the house. All fire extinguishers are regularly checked and replaced if necessary. We also have a well drilled fire escape plan.
The premises at 112 First Avenue for the younger Einsteins are fitted with security cameras.
