Starfish Montessori

School Hours:

Week days: Monday to Fridays, 7am to 6pm, for children aged 3 - 6 years
School holidays: Open but close for 2 - 3 weeks during Christmas holidays;
Public Holidays: Closed

Attendance:

Full day (7am - 6pm), half day (7am - 12:30) or until 2pm option is available.
Progress reports are issued at the end of every term

Meals:

We provide breakfast, cooked lunch and an afternoon snack; parents to provide a mid-morning snack.

Playground:

We have 2 Secure outside landscaped play areas:
Front area: for afternoon play.
Back area: for morning play, consisting of jungle gym, sand pit, swings, slides and enough space for running or playing games.

Environment:

Fully Montessori equipped with the environment built around the developmental needs of the child. All excursions are built around themes. Children learn by experiencing the environment around them; working with Montessori didactic materials stimulates the child’s natural desire to learn

Staff:

All staff are fully Montessori trained and hold Montessori Teacher Training Diploma’s, as well as First Aid certificates. Our staff regularly attends workshops to ensure continued learning and staying updated with education trends.
