Beehive Montessori

The Montessori Beehive Pre-School is a (private) parent run school which was established in 1983 by parents for their children. It is open to all children, aged 18 months to 6 years without regard of race, creed, religion or national origin.
The school is registered as a non-profit organisation.

Our school employs qualified and experienced staff, and is registered with the Western Cape Education Department.

We provide a daily living and learning environment for children where they can grow socially, physically and mentally in a structure based on the Monteossori philosophy. A Montessori-based after-school care facility was added in 1991 to provide a caring and stimulating environment for children in the afternoons.

Billigual (English and Afrikaans)

In January 2009 our Toddler group opened its doors - a beautiful, peaceful area that caters for 12 toddlers during school terms from 07h30 to 12h15.

Our times are:-

07h30 to 12h15

Aftercare half day until 14h30

Aftercare full day until 17h30

A parent committee, including the Head Directress (Principal), manages the business affairs of the Beehive Montessori Pre-School.
