Mary’s Little Lambs Educare (MLLE) is an ECD registered centre established to provide a loving homely environment with the aim of developing children; aged 18 months to 5 years, to reach their maximum potential.

At MLLE we run a full day program, a half-day program (7:30AM to 12:00pm/12:30pm) and a 3/4day with a dismissal at 3pm. We run an aftercare service for children from Grade 1 – Grade 7.

The learning program that we follow is the Grow curriculum. This curriculum is designed to develop children to reach their milestones that need to be achieved at specified points throughout the year, however we understand and support children who develop at their own pace. 

We offer loads of exciting extra mural activities; swimming (during the warmer seasons), dance, soccer through Soccer Starz, Culinary Kids, Computer Kids and Islamic studies. We aim to provide a high quality service that offers convenience, fun, learning and developing an all rounded little person. 

The curriculum aims to develop children’s literacy and numeracy skills. This is imperative as it forms the foundation of their formal schooling for years to come. It further develops their fine and gross motor skills which is important for their holistic development. 

At MLLE we combine the Grow curriculum with the Montessori approach. This means that we make use of Montessori equipment to support the Grow curriculum. By allowing children to select their type of equipment we ensure that the children are learning through their interest which; in turn maximizes their learning potential.

Social constructivist theorist, Lev Vygotsky states that; children learn through social play. Thus our classrooms are structured in such a way that it allows children opportunities to learn though play and simultaneously build on their social skills.

We strive to develop our little lambs into a school ready kid in a safe and loving environment.
