Wiegieland Babasorg

Wiegieland is an early learning facility for children age 3 months - 3 years. Our curriculum is approved by the Department of Social Development.  
Our mission is to provide a safe, caring and homely environment with stimulating, fun and educational activities to enable children to reach their full potential. Our vision is to provide holistic and inclusive education with equal opportunities for all children in order to lay strong foundations for the development of talented, dynamic and upstanding citizens.

All of our staff members are qualified and trained and continuously undergo training to provide age appropriate educational activities and to provide quality care.  

Wiegieland encourage parent participation and adopted an open door policy where parents can freely make suggestions. We also believe in open and honest communication and feedback to the parents. 

All meals, fruit, yoghurt, juice, sandwich and snacks are included in the monthly fees. We are open during school holidays except December when we close for our annual leave. We have created specific business hours to be more accommodating.
Monday to Friday 06h45 - 12h00, 06h45 - 15h00 and 06h45 - 17h30.

Our objectives:
• Provision of cooked balanced, healthy and nutritious meals.
• Personal care and assistance
• Provision of basic medical care
• Controlled disposition of medicine (only prescribed and chronic)
• Weekly activities including physical, emotional and spiritual stimulation 
• Small classes ensuring individual attention
• Extra mural activities
• Progress reports (twice per year)
• Christian teachings 
• A calm and very loving homely atmosphere
• A clean and hygienic environment
• A balanced daily programme that  encompasses all areas of development
