Patrysies Nursery School and After Care Centre

Patrysies opened on 1 August 2003

We have a large playground with junglegyms and swings. Our classrooms are also spacious and are equipped with enough educational toys to develop our children in total.
We have small groups to assure individual attention in our classes. There is a teacher and a assistant in all our classes.

We conduct our classes in both English and Afrikaans.

We have armed response and a medical doctor on call (Dr Mari Olivier)

We are open daily from Mondays to Fridays 06:00 to 18:00.
We are closed on public holidays and between Christmas and New year.

BABIES

In this class we take care of babies from 3 months until 18 months with lots of love and attention.

REQUIREMENTS: Blanket, fitted sheet, nappies, bum cream, facecloth, porridge (if they cannot eat maize meal / oats yet) Bottles, milk, wet wipes and a snack for in between meals (yoghurt, finger biscuits, Marie biscuit)

POTTIES

In this class we take care of children from 18 months. Here they start learning about themselves, sharing, colours, shapes ect. They also starts to learn how to use the paintbrush and how to hold a crayon. And very important, from 2 years of age they start potty-training in this class.

REQUIREMENTS: Healthy snack for 15:00, fitted sheet, blanket, facecloth, feeding cup, A4 book in plastic file, wet wipes.

2 - 3 Years

In this class we take care of children that is fully potty-trained until 3 years. We have a different theme for each week. All activities are according to the theme of the week. We do activities to develop the child in totality.

3 - 4 Years

In these two classes we take care of all our toddlers. We have a different theme for each week. All activities are according to the theme of the week. We do activities to develop the child in totality.

4 - 5 Years

In this class we take care of pre-schoolers. We have a different theme for each week. All activities are according to the theme of the week. We do activities to develop the child in totality.

AFTER CARE

We take care of children from Gr R - Gr 7.

We provide lunch and a snack and we give them the opportunity to do their homework under supervision.

REQUIREMENTS: Stationary

We provide breakfast and lunch.
